Esembly cloth diapers are made up of two products: an absorbent cotton Inner fitted diaper and a waterproof Outer diaper cover (sold separately).

Our Inner Snaps swaddle your baby in soft, structured and highly absorbent unbleached organic cotton twill.

Designed to make cloth diapering as familiar and easy as a disposable, our Inner Snap closes with built-in snaps for a fast, fuss-free fit at each change. Stretchy elastic at the legs and waist hug baby's curves to keep the messiest of messes contained. A unique 'butterfly' layered core packs serious absorbency into an ultra-trim shape that goes on in seconds - no folding required.

All Esembly Inner cloth diapers come in two sizes and are made to grow with your baby from birth through potty training.

Inners are fully customizable with different cloth diaper liners to assist baby through different ages and stages.

Because our Inners are made of 100% cotton (an all-natural fiber) the moisture will wick and spread through the diaper and it will feel damp to the touch when fully saturated. This is normal and expected and will not cause your baby any discomfort when changed at regular 2-3 hour change intervals. If extra moisture-wicking is desired, our washable fleece Stay-Dry Liners can be added to your Inner.

Once your baby starts sleeping in longer sleep stretches, you'll want to add an Overnighter nighttime cloth diaper booster or two to the diaper to increase absorbency.

Once your baby starts solid foods, Tossers can be incorporated to help remove the poo prior to laundering (poop removal is NOT necessary when your baby is on a breastmilk or formula only diet).

Inners should always be used with a waterproof cloth diaper cover like our Outer.

For best results, wash with our Washing Powder using our step-by-step wash instructions.

For full-time cloth diapering of a newborn we recommend having:

• 24-30 Inner cloth diapers (can be a combo of Snaps and Ties)
• 6-8 Outer cloth diaper covers

Put a fresh Inner on your baby at each change.

Cover the Inner with a waterproof Outer diaper cover to complete the diaper.

We recommend changing an awake baby every 2-3 hours, or immediately if poop is detected.

When soiled, set cloth diaper aside in Day Bag, Ditty Bag or Pail Pouch until you launder with our Washing Powder every 2-3 days.

Follow our step-by-step Esembly Wash Instructions to launder. Be sure to never soak your diapers in anything (not even plain water) as it can lead to premature degradation of the fabric resulting in fraying and holes.
