Our Everyday Balm is the perfect daily cloth diaper safe cream. Use at every change to nourish and protect your baby's delicate skin fending off diaper rash.
It’s also a great “anywhere” balm—great for baby massage, relief of eczema and dry skin, on cradle cap, and as a nipple cream for nursing moms. (The ingredients are so pure and natural that they do not needs to b washed off before nursing!)
Our balm has a lovely ointment-like consistency, which is unusual for a product that contains as high of a percentage of organic coconut oil as ours does. Coconut oil on its own turns rock hard when it’s cold and liquid when it’s warm making it difficult to work with on the changing table. Our unique formula blends organic coconut oil with equally nourishing (but liquid stable) organic olive, shea nut and sunflower oils, beeswax and vitamin E so it keeps the same consistency at any temperature.
Please note: Because we use pure, unrefined coconut oil in our formula (better for the skin but more sensitive to temperature) you might see some little crystals or lumps in your balm. This is rare, but if it does happen rest assured your balm is still good! It just means that there was a major temperature shift in storage or transit to you. You can use the balm as-is (the little lumps melt when rubbed into warm skin) or ifyou prefer your balm perfectly smooth, simply place it uncovered in the microwave in 10 second intervals for up to 60 seconds until it melts to liquid. Once melted, immediately stick it in the fridge to set it. Remove when fully firm and store in your changing area.
