EWG’s verification process is rooted in a weight-of-evidence approach , which evaluates the potential health and environmental impacts of every ingredient in a product. Here’s how it works:

1. Ingredient Disclosure : EWG requires full transparency of all ingredients, including fragrances. Our Washing Powder meets this standard by providing a complete and clear list of what’s inside.

2. Hazard Scoring : Each ingredient is assessed for potential health hazards, such as links to cancer, reproductive toxicity, or skin irritation. EWG uses a scoring system from A to F, with A being the safest. Our Washing Powder’s ingredients are all well within EWG’s safety limits.

Our Washing Powder is officially the only detergent to be both EWG verified and patented! And further, it’s the only detergent that’s patented formula is designed to power clean the soil in dirty diapers.

We partnered with a PhD in biochemical engineering with a specialty in laundry formulation (really!) to create a unique blend of ionic and anionic surfactants, anti-redeposition agents, chelating agents (aka water softeners), and alkalis to power clean diapers without causing harm to the environment or being too harsh for delicate baby skin. And if it can do all that for the poopy diapers, just think of what it can do for the rest of your household laundry!
